High-end inverter enhanced

Projecta has enhanced its top-of-the-range IP2000, 2000W ‘Intelli-Wave’ pure sine wave inverter, to incorporate a number of innovative new features, ensuring safe and seamless operation of 240V appliances on the go.

Now available in New Zealand, the upgraded IP2000 provides an ideal solution to the safe use of laptop/tablet computers, TVs and other delicate electrical items connected to a vehicle or boat battery. Among the new additions is a Residual Current Device (RCD) safety switch, which detects if there is an earth leakage and will automatically disconnect all power sockets, providing protection from electrocution in a similar manner to a safety switch in the home.

“This is a welcome safety upgrade and means that it can be used with full confidence in all circumstances,” says Tim Paterson, National Sales manager for NARVA NZ, which distributes Projecta battery-related products in this market.
