⁣
Caption: The 633 produced in the greatest quantities was the 633D version that was introduced in 1975. This is an early example with the headlights enclosed within the radiator guard (later build units have them mounted externally on the sides of the guard). An open ROPS and cushion hitch are standard equipment and this unit has a solid rather than perforated debris guard. ⁣

Caption: Factory fresh Hewco LD3 Scoopmobile with a 1.25 cubic yard standard bucket and no cab presents a simple but effective small wheel loader. The straight bucket lift arms and quack release bucket pin levers are well shown in this photo. ⁣

Caption: When Caterpillar updated its open bowl scraper line in 1969, the 633 got a new tractor unit becoming the 633C. This 633C, up for auction, is a fairly late example with factory ROPS and cushion hitch. The bowl sides have been extended slightly to increase the machines capacity. ⁣

Caption: An early Caterpillar 633 engaged in land levelling in the USA. The debris guard is still in place, comforting seeing the machine has no cab or ROPS. The photo gives a good sense of the brute elegance of the machine.⁣

Caption: Although this first series 633 has been parked up for a while, it is more than capable of a good days work. The machine has been fitted with a locally built cab and a muffler (which could use some TLC!). The debris guard has been removed from the top of the elevator. ⁣
