Auckland’s very competitive 2024 REOC

The Queen City held its 2024 regional excavator competition over the weekend of 17-18 February with a tightly fought event with only five points between the top three places.

With only four points between the first and second winners, the trophy went to David Benioni from CB Civil, with second place won by Jarrod Hoskins from Fulton Hogan who was last year’s winner.

Daniel Smith, who was only one point behind Jarrod, was third and was competing against his brother Jason Smith, who was competing for the first time and ranked in the top 10 operators. Daniel is an operator with 17 years’ experience and has ranked in the Auckland competition before. And, well done ICB which had two operators rank in the top 10.

Results were very close among the top 10 performers
