⁣
Caption: Scanned from an original July 1940 specification sheet from my collection, this is the first iteration of the ‘standard’ model C Tournapull with trailing model LS Carryall. As you can see, it is very basic with very few creature comforts other than lights.⁣
In the event of a hitch breakage, that sheave block on the scraper push bean is coming right down on top of your head!⁣

⁣
Caption: Model collectors were well served for replicas of the International 175 as diecast maker First Gear did a run of the model 175C in both 1:50 and 1:25 scales in several versions back in 2007.⁣
Unfortunately, with the passage of time, these have become a little difficult to locate as First Gear did not run them again.⁣
Both are highly collectable and little museum pieces in miniature, and I recommend them highly.⁣

⁣
Caption: Some 40-plus years after exiting International’s production line, this model 175C is looking for a new home.⁣
It is equipped with a ROPS, muffler, and extra counterweight (which was required when the machine was fitted with a four-in-one bucket and no rear ripper or winch).⁣
Prospective purchasers will have to shell out for some new tracks however, the existing ones having seen much better days.⁣

Caption: A very tidy late production International 175C with an identity crisis, part decalled in IH colours and the other in IH’s new owner (as of 1982) Dresser!⁣
The machine appears to be in pretty good condition with good undercarriage.⁣

⁣
Caption: International 175s were sold worldwide and this particular example, a 175B, was photographed in a French gravel quarry. ⁣
The machine is fitted with a locally made cab, four-in-one bucket, full track guards and a Drott radial arc ripper, strangely with no shanks⁣

Caption: A fully outfitted International 175C with sweeps attached to the front of the ROPS. ⁣
This machine is most likely destined for a life in demolition.⁣
It also has heavy mesh guarding on the rear of the ROPS. ⁣
International 175s were very popular in all sorts of applications.⁣
