Caption: Replacing the C/222A in 1967 was the model C222F, now officially designated as a Wabco product. This is one of Goodman’s machines, seen in the sand at Waikanae in 1976. The heavy-duty front bumper is a Goodman modification, but the sun canopy is a standard factory option. A Michigan 180-wheel dozer waits to give assistance if required.

Caption: Scanned from a factory brochure of the C/222A dated 1964, the Hancock logo and model 222 can be plainly seen on the bowl of the scraper which held 21 cubic yards. At this stage of development, only a five-speed manual transmission was available for the machine, the Allison powershift becoming available later that same year. This was also one of the earliest appearances of the Wabco logo which can be seen on the top of the radiator surround.
