Caption: The authors scratch built 1:50 scale Wabco 222F, made from bits & pieces of a 1:60 Wabco 333FT and many, many parts from the ‘spares box’. As there are no models of Wabco elevating scrapers available (apart from a hellishly expensive and very rare 222G), this will have to do in the meantime!

Caption: The last variant of the Wabco 222 was the 222H. As can be seen, this had an entirely new bowl assembly, built from steel box sections rather than plate steel with box stiffeners as previous versions had been manufactured. A ROPS cab was now standard. Regrettably, the type was discontinued in 1984 with the demise of Wabco.
