Wellington Water and contractor McConnell Dowell are involved in a project at Barber Grove in Lower Hutt using micro-tunnelling for the first time in the Capital.
This unique project is using this trenchless tunnelling innovation to strengthen the Hutt Valley’s wastewater network in preparation for future growth and reduce the risk of wastewater entering the environment in the event of a major earthquake.
