Classic Machines: The LeTourneau-Westinghouse C-500 scraper slideshow with captions

In the decade after the Second World War Caterpillar, Euclid and Allis-Chalmers made strong inroads into LeTourneau-Westinghouse’s marketplace and the company realised that it could not rest on its laurels any longer. In early 1960s design studies began on a new Tournapull, the model C-500 as it was to be known.
